The story begins in 2012 with a purchase of my dream car, a 1997 Mitsubishi Galant 2.5 V6 in bright red colour. A marvellous and timeless car that i enjoyed driving and looking at every day. As it later turned out, the bright red paint was not left in best condition by the previous owner, so when the sun has melted the thin layer of wax put on there for the purpose of sale, it made the single stage coat of paint fade and oxidise, quickly making it look flat, dull and matt. This is where i found out that bringing back the shine to a car is something i enjoy and after hours of research and practice with a polishing machine, i've come to enjoy it even more, as i dove deeper into the world of detailing.

As the car i now drove was turning heads all around the town and people were impressed with the great condition i kept it in, friends and family started asking for my help with their vehicles and so my detailing journey has begun, although it was only a hobby at the time.....  fast forward, after moving to Britain, and after years of experience and passion put into restoring all kinds of vehicles to their glossy glory, i've decided to offer my services to a wider audience and do what I've always enjoyed, this time as a fully registered business, so i can keep widening my knowledge and expertise while providing top level detailing services to my clients, and put all my passion and devotion into what i love doing most...

CH AutoDetailing is a Mobile Car Detailing and Valeting business established in 2022, based on the passion for cars and everything automotive. With our extensive experience and knowledge you can be assured that your car is in good hands. The services we provide ranges from simple mini Valets through to extensive Deep Cleans to paint correction and paint restoration. Nothing is too much trouble and we always try to fit around our customers to provide the best service and experience possible. Quality over quantity is what we believe in and cutting corners is not something we accept in our work.

We operate in North Devon and West Somerset, serving customers all around Bideford, Barnstaple, Great Torrington, South Molton and all the surrounding areas. We also serve customers in Minehead with surrounding areas as far north as Taunton and Bristol.

Vehicle Detailing focuses on bringing the car back to as close to "as new" condition as it is possible. That includes Paint Correction which is a process of mechanical polishing of the top paint layer to remove any blemishes, scratches and micro marring (haziness) from its surface, bringing back deep gloss reflection and colour depth. Plastic trim restoration, bringing any faded pieces back to their original colour, headlamp restoration, improving clarity of the lenses and finally, protecting all surfaces with short or long lasting protection layers. It is never a quick process, as detail needs time and care of levels higher than usual.

Just as the exterior is taken care of, the interior of the car is treated accordingly. Fabrics and leather can be treated with protection layers, glossy plastic trim corrected and polished, any dust or dirt removed from all cracks and crevices.

The business operates mainly on a Mobile basis. Any services offered, can be carried out in a mobile mode, at the clients location or the car can be dropped off at the business location and collected after the service has been finished.
